Sales Associate Retail

A sales associate in retail is responsible for assisting customers with purchases, maintaining store appearance, and managing inventory. They greet customers, answer questions about products, process transactions, and handle returns and refunds. They also help maintain the store’s visual appeal and may assist with inventory management. 

Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions about products and services, assist with product selections, and handle returns and refunds. 
• Sales Transactions: Process payments, issue receipts, and complete sales transactions accurately. 
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restock shelves, and ensure proper merchandising displays. 
• Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks, restock inventory, and report low stock levels. 
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed about current products, promotions, and store policies. 
• Loss Prevention: Help monitor the sales floor and report any suspicious activity. 
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and meet store goals. 
• Customer Feedback: Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and experiences.
