A housekeeping manager oversees the cleanliness, and safety of facilities. They manage a team of housekeepers, ensuring tasks are performed effectively and efficiently, and maintain a high standard of hygiene and presentation. 

Key features:

1. Managing Staff: 

• Training, and supervising: housekeeping staff.
• Creating and managing schedules: ensure adequate coverage and efficient task completion.
• Evaluating performance: providing feedback of housekeeping staff.

2. Overseeing Operations:

• Ensuring adherence to cleanliness standards: for public areas, and back-of-house spaces. 
• Maintaining and ordering cleaning equipment, linen, and supplies . 
• Monitoring inventory levels: Cleanliness Budget Optimization. 
• Reporting issues: like room damage or maintenance requests to the appropriate department. 

3. Maintaining Standards and Compliance:

• Implementing and enforcing: health and safety regulations. 
• Conducting regular inspections: to ensure quality and address issues of housekeeping staff.
